Am I allowed to be disappointed with NY fashion week? Truth be told, I have always found many things to LOVE on the runways, but I am just not feeling it this season. I almost feel as though most of the designers slept through winter and put together a line at last minute. I give everyone tons and tons of credit for working so hard, but I just feel like every designer down played themselves this season. The proof lies in Marc Jacobs collection as well as in Thakoon's collection. I am disappointed with a lot of the color pallets, the fabric choices, and the overall design quality. OF course there were many style that stuck out in my mind, but ultimately, I have not felt inspired but New York Fashion Week yet. I think I need to give it more of a chance, but I've kept up with every new show thats been released for the day, and I just don't feel it yet.
